2 Freebooter Heavy Warjacks Painted

Two more Freebooters painted for my pirate army! These are from the Iron Kingdoms board game: The Undercity. I rebased them onto 50mm bases as the ones the board game minis come on are slightly too small. They came in red and blue coloured plastic which is relevant in the board game, this influenced me to paint them to match those colours so when I use them in the board game its easy to see which is the red and which is the blue!

I really like the sculpts of the pirate Warjacks, they have a load of character. Painting them in bold primary colours was fun as well as I typically paint in more subdued colours. I did still use a lot of weathering to help it match the tone of my other models though.

I'm glad to add these to my painted collection. One day I will have the whole Undercity board game finished! (I'm in no rush)
I've plenty more to paint and will continue to post them in the days to come.

And finally I thought I would try something new! 
Using money from my generous supporters over at Patreon I purchased a rotating display stand. I like to put the money from supporters back into improving the content I make.
I'm hoping to get better at making these over time, one thing I know I want to save for is a better camera (I currently use my phone).
