Swamp Horror for Widowers Wood Painted

I have another heavy warbeast painted! This time its a Swamp Horror, and it was a lot of fun to paint.
I picked purple mainly because I have never painted a mini with purple as its main colour before and he seemed like an idea mini to try it on.

I asked on the Warmachine & Hordes Painting facebook group for people's opinions on how I should paint the round orbs on the sides of its head. Dallas suggested a glossy black look which I really liked the idea of that and went with it. A few people suggested colours like lime green or yellow but I thought they would clash too much with the purple skin.
If you aren't a member of the of the W/H painting group its well worth joining, its a very positive place and a great inspiration seeing everyone's painted minis!
You can find the group here

I am really pleased with the milky blue eyes they add a nice spot colour to the mini and really draw the eyes in. Credit to my wife for picking the colour for them!

Really hard to get a good picture of, but painting the tentacles and underbelly of the mini was really tricky but I got there in the end!

So what do you think of my Swamp Horror? I'm really happy with it and can't wait to get to use that 4" melee range!
