Today we take a look at Stone Lord Guvul Godor who is a fighter class hero in Riot Quest and a Mercenary Command attachment for Horgenhold Forge Guard in Warmachine and Hordes.
He comes in three metal parts.
The main body is nicely detailed with next to no mould lines. The armour style is very similar to the forge guard unit he attaches to, but more finely decorated with fligree and gems.
Nice deep connection points for the arms means I don't think pinning will be necessary
The arms with hammers have slight mould lines running up and down the hammers but nothing too bad. An interesting detail I didn't notice on the renders during the Kick starter are the faces on the head of each hammer.
And here he is fully assembled.
And here is the scale shot with Professor Pendrake
Though I mainly picked him up for Riot Quest, I do own a unit of Forge Guard and I will paint him up with a similar colour scheme so he fits in.
I wanted to also note the new packaging for this wave of Riot Quest minis. Fully cardboard with a Replaceable front panel (which is the art card with the same section of fluff for the mini) means that every Riot Quest mini can use the same packaging. As well as there being no plastic packaging!
This does have the slight downside that shipping them in padded envelopes could lead to the packaging being crushed where as the old plastic blister packs had no problems with this. But that's a small price to pay to be more environmentally friendly.

If you want to pick them up for yourself you can find them here at The Outpost (a UK webstore I'm affiliated with)
